JOB!!!!!

I found out today that I will be teaching 1st grade bilingual (again :) ) but this time only 10 min from my house! I'm SO happy!

 Still haven't heard anything about jobs for the fall but maybe if I get started with something then it may bring good vibes??!!? I was thinking of putting this in a station :)

Interview today

I had an interview today for 2nd grade bilingual at a school district 15 minutes from home. I really hope I get the job. The principal told me they'd be making a decision "pretty soon" but those words are killing me! What does pretty soon mean? Uggh! Well, all I can do know is pray and leave it up to HIM. :)

First Upload! (Hope it works)

Ok so this is the first time I try to "upload" something on my blog and I'm hoping it works! I made this ending blends sort for my 1st grade kiddos. To differentiate I wrote the word on the back of the ones that I thought may be tricky (teaching bilingual often requires that you provide more scaffolds). new to this

Ok, so I'm VERY new to this blogging thing and am not "techy" at all...so here it goes. I've been really lucky to have found all these amazing teacher blogs! They inspire me to do what I love even better! Unfortunately, right now I am not so fortunate since I was affected by the budget cuts here in TX =( I am currently in search of a job and it saddens me not to be doing what I love most, especially after two years as a bilingual 1st grade teacher. I do hope I find something SOON.
